Why Acclinate Left WordPress for Webflow

Acclinate's AI powers diverse clinical-trial enrollment for the world's biggest pharma companies. But its website looked like a nonprofit. Ammo rebuilt the entire presence in Webflow.

Introduction:

Ammo Studio designed and rebuilt Acclinate’s entire website in Webflow — migrating the health-equity data company off WordPress, consolidating a multi-subdomain patchwork onto a single domain, and delivering a pharma-credible presence with the homepage live in about 90 days from kickoff.

Acclinate is a health-equity data company that improves diverse clinical-trial enrollment. It pairs a 200,000-member health community with patented AI that predicts and improves enrollment for pharmaceutical trials — serious, data-heavy, pharma-facing work.

But you would not have known that from looking at the old website.

The Challenge:

Acclinate had outgrown its site. The digital presence was a patchwork: a legacy WordPress CMS, a contact page that literally surfaced the HubSpot favicon, a blog and a newsroom living on separate subdomains, and no working cookie manager.

The bigger problem was perception. The old site read more like a nonprofit than the data company behind patented enrollment AI — it didn’t signal the credibility that pharmaceutical buyers expect. With a Series B on the horizon, Acclinate needed a site that matched the seriousness of its work, plus something the old build couldn’t offer: a real, trackable way to capture engagement from a proper contact page.

The Solution:

Ammo rebuilt the whole thing in Webflow, leading with brand discovery and a clear design system that separated Acclinate’s blue corporate brand from the warmer NOWINCLUDED community palette.

A people-first, data-forward site. After an honest round of design iteration to lock the direction, Ammo built a modern presence that balances two things Acclinate has to do at once — show pharmaceutical buyers a credible, evidence-driven partner, and keep the human warmth of a 200,000-member community.

Consolidating the mess. The blog and newsroom were pulled back onto a single domain, replacing the multi-subdomain patchwork. Ammo built a proper, trackable contact page and shipped a compliant cookie manager — fixing the tracking and compliance gaps in one pass.

Animation over dense screenshots. Ammo created custom Lottie animation to bring Acclinate’s e-DICT product to life, making the AI tangible without burying buyers in product UI.

Built for speed. Design and development ran in parallel to move fast, the team absorbed a mid-project DNS migration, and the homepage shipped first so Acclinate had an immediate, visible win.

The Result:

  • A unified, pharma-credible site — one domain, one brand system, one CMS, replacing a multi-subdomain patchwork.
  • The homepage live in about 90 days from kickoff, with product and solution pages following.
  • Compliance and tracking fixed — a real, trackable contact page and a working cookie manager.
  • Custom Lottie animation that brings the e-DICT product to life.
  • A presence built to carry Acclinate into its next funding stage.

“This is exactly the direction and the caliber of product I am accustomed to from Ammo.”
